  • What were you trying to do?
    Example: "I was trying to send a 500MB video file to my friend"
  • What actually happened?
    Example: "The upload reached 50% then stopped and showed an error"
  • Your browser and operating system
    Example: "Chrome 120 on Windows 11" or "Safari on iPhone 15"
  • Any error messages
    If you saw any error messages, please copy and paste them exactly
  • Screenshots (if possible)
    A screenshot can help us understand the issue faster

🔍 Common Issues & Quick Fixes

Transfer stuck or not starting?

  • Check if both devices are still connected to the internet
  • Try refreshing the page and creating a new room
  • Make sure you're not behind a strict firewall or VPN
  • Some corporate networks block P2P connections

Room code not working?

  • Double-check the room code - they're case-sensitive
  • Make sure the sender created the room and is still on the page
  • Room codes expire after 24 hours of inactivity

File not downloading?

  • Check if you have enough storage space on your device
  • Try a different browser
  • Make sure the sender is still connected and on the page

⚡ Priority Bugs

Some bugs are more urgent than others. Please mark your email as "URGENT" if:

  • The bug causes data loss or corruption
  • The bug is a security vulnerability
  • The bug makes the site completely unusable
  • The bug affects a large number of users

🚀 Feature Requests vs. Bugs

Bug: Something that's broken or not working as intended
Example: "The progress bar shows 100% but the file hasn't finished downloading"

Feature Request: Something new you'd like us to add
Example: "It would be great if you could add password protection for rooms"

How We Handle Bug Reports

We review every bug report we receive. Here's our typical process:

  1. Acknowledgment - We'll confirm we received your report (usually within 24-48 hours)
  2. Investigation - We'll try to reproduce the bug and understand what's happening
  3. Fix - Once we know what's wrong, we'll work on a fix
  4. Update - We'll let you know when the fix is live

The whole process typically takes 3-7 days depending on the complexity of the bug.
