While we can't see what files people are sharing (that's the whole point), we can block room codes and ban IP addresses if needed.

FAQ (Save yourself an email)
Q: Can you recover a file that was already transferred?
A: No. We never store files, so once the transfer is done, it's gone from our side.
Q: Can I get my room code back if I lost it?
A: Unfortunately no. Room codes are generated randomly and we don't keep records of who created what.
Q: The transfer failed halfway through. Can you restart it?
A: We can't restart transfers since we don't store the files. You'll need to create a new room and try again. (Resume functionality is coming though!)
Q: Is ZapFile open source?
A: Not yet, but we're strongly considering it. Check our About page for more on this.
Q: Can I use ZapFile for my business?
A: Sure! It's free for everyone. If you need something custom or want to self-host, email us.
